Best Special Effects Awards

The grand Filmfare Awards took shape in the year 1954. They are one of the most awaited award ceremonies of the year. Special effects are nothing but illusions that are used in films in order to simulate the imagined events in a story. The Best Special Effect Awards are presented to acknowledge the talent of an artist, who successfully produces illusions and tricky effects that startle the audience. The ‘Best Special Effects’ award was included to the long list (of Filmfare Awards) in the year 2007. The inaugural award was bagged by Sham Kaushal for the film ‘Krrish’.
