Best Contemporary Soul Gospel

The Grammy Award Best Soul Gospel Performance, Contemporary was handed out from 1978 to 1983. The award was continued in 1991 as Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album. American Gospel singer, songwriter, minister Andrae Crouch won the award thrice in his career consecutively in 1979 and 1980 and the third time in 1982.
