Best Country Instrumental

The Grammy Award for Best Country Instrumental Performance was first handed out in 1970. The award was presented as Grammy Award for Best Country Instrumental Performance (Orchestra, Group or Soloist) from 1986 through 1989. The award was renamed Best Country Instrumental Performance in 1990. Chet Atkins with a record 12 Grammys is the most awarded artist in this category.
