Best Pop Performance Group

The Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals has been handed out since 1966. It was known as Best Contemporary (R&R) Performance - Group (Vocal or Instrumental) from 1966 to 1967. Minor changes were applied to the title every year till 1972. In 1973 it was again changed to Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus. In 1978 it was awarded as Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Group. In 1979 it was again awarded as Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group. Since 1981it has been awarded as Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals. The Beatles are the most nominated band in the category with 7 nominations, winning the award twice.
