Best Soul Performance Traditional

The Grammy Award for Best Soul Gospel Performance, Traditional was handed out from 1978 to 1983. In 1991 the Academy introduced a similar award the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album. American gospel and soul music singer Al Green and the gospel quartet Mighty Clouds of Joy have both won the award twice.
