The year 1954 saw the dawn of the prestigious Filmfare Awards in the Indian film industry. The awards were constituted to acknowledge best artists and their skills in Bollywood. The story is all about two impoverished brothers who take up different career paths to survive in Mumbai. ‘Deewar’ is among the few films which established Big B (Bachchan) as the ‘angry young man’ in the Hindi cinema industry.
